The user guide procedure Consult Before You Complete a Transfer on a Cisco IP Phone 7800 Series Multiplatform phone is: from a call that is not on hold press Transfer, talk to the other person when they answer, optionally press the line key to move between the held call and the transfer target, and press Transfer again to complete the transfer.
