Unified CCX database steps support varchar fields up to 255 characters and do not support varchar(max).

Unified CCX when integrated with an external database using the DB Get Step does not support a database table that has a field with the datatype varchar(max). Unified CCX supports a database field with the datatype varchar(N) where N ranges from 0 to 255 characters (N >= 0 and N <= 255) instead of varchar(max).
