Source note · Connecting Unified CM to Five9
When a Unified CM phone is used as a Five9 PSTN station, the Five9 agent leg arrives as an ordinary PSTN call to that phone's DID through the enterprise's existing PSTN gateway, so the phone needs a directly dialable number and the session holds a PSTN channel for as long as the agent is logged in.
