If fax problems persist after T.38 is enabled, Cisco's suggested measures are to restart the fax machine and ATA, check connections and the ATA status in Control Hub, lower the baud rate to 9600 or 2400 bps, adjust Error Correction Mode, and send fewer pages per transmission.
