Source note · Porting numbers to Microsoft Teams
When Direct Routing or Operator Connect numbers in the US or Canada move into Calling Plans, preassignment is not allowed, but Microsoft can keep the existing assignment. A Calling Plan license and an emergency calling location must be assigned for each number before the port completes.
