Direct Routing failures carry two codes. The SIP response code (CallEndReason) is three digits and says what happened. The Microsoft response code (CallEndSubReason) is usually six digits, though it can be empty or longer, and says why. Both appear in the Teams admin center and in the Power BI Quality of Experience Report for PSTN.
