Source note · SIP 488 and codec negotiation failures
Cisco's SRTP pass-through overview says that if the target adjacency does not support SRTP pass-through the call is rejected with 415 Unsupported Media Type, so an SRTP failure on CUBE can surface as a 415 rather than a 488.
