Source note · STIR SHAKEN attestation framework
The Control Hub setting that blocks calls failing caller identity validation is disabled by default, and Cisco states that when it is enabled such calls are not routed to the user's endpoints while the calling number is still added to the called user's call history.
Checked 2026-09-16
These calls aren’t routed to the user's endpoints. However, the calling number is added to called user’s call history. By default, this value is disabled.
