Source note · Real-time translation in contact centers
Under 45 CFR 92.201(c)(3), a covered entity that uses machine translation must have the translation reviewed by a qualified human translator when the underlying text is critical to the rights, benefits or meaningful access of an individual with limited English proficiency, when accuracy is essential, or when the source material contains complex, non-literal or technical language.
