Source note · Modernizing a DTMF IVR to conversational AI
In Amazon Connect, barge-in is enabled globally by default for Amazon Lex (V2) bots and disabled by default for Amazon Lex (Classic) bots, and the Classic barge-in session attribute controls only Lex barge-in, not DTMF barge-in.
