Cisco's Local Gateway guide shows ip host SRV entries (for example _sip._udp.wxtocucm.io srv 0 1 5065 ucmpub.mydomain.com) with session target dns:wxtocucm.io, so the gateway can pick Unified CM hosts and ports without external DNS.
