A gateway's calls can also be classified by associating the gateway with a route pattern and setting Call Classification on the route pattern, so three places can decide whether a call is external.

You can also classify calls through a gateway as OnNet or OffNet by associating the gateway to a route pattern and configure Call Classification in the Route Pattern Configuration window.
