Source note · Trunks route groups and dial plans in Control Hub
The Calls to On-Premises Extensions setting is enabled per location and routes a call to an unknown extension of 2 to 10 digits to a selected trunk or route group as a premises call, where a caller identity that matches no dial plan pattern is what makes an extension unknown; the maximum unknown extension length is configurable over the same 2 to 10 digit range.
