Within a route group, calls are distributed at random among the trunks that share the highest priority level, and a lower priority is used only when every trunk at the higher priority is unavailable.

Calls are distributed randomly among trunks with the same priority. If a trunk that is set as highest priority is not available, the system attempts to route the call to a trunk with a lower priority setting.
