Each Webex Calling data centre hosts the call routing functions and holds customer calling configuration data, and also hosts 2 tiers of session border controller: access SBCs that terminate all customer-facing SIP connections from Local Gateways endpoints and soft clients, and peering SBCs that terminate the SIP peering connections to SIP service providers.
