# The combined Webex Suite MCP server

Last verified: 2026-09-05

The Webex Suite MCP Server exposes 25 tools split 6 for Meetings 11 for Messaging 5 for Vidcast and 3 for Calling[^8]. The server publishes a scopes table of 15 rows together with a full scope string of 15 tokens[^7].

## Tool consolidation and differences

WarmTransfer's reading of the sources is that the Suite server reaches functional parity with the dedicated Meetings server by consolidating create update and delete into a single meeting management tool[^3]. The Suite server's consolidated meeting management tool requires both the schedules read and schedules write scopes while the dedicated server's separate create update and delete tools require only the write scope[^2].

The Suite server omits 4 Messaging capabilities the dedicated Messaging server exposes, covering membership retrieval webhook retrieval file details and thread retrieval, with no consolidated equivalent[^4]. In addition, no tool that appears in both the Suite server and a dedicated server carries an identical description in both[^5].

## Scopes and onboarding status

The 3 Calling tools appear in no row of the scopes table while all 22 other tools appear in at least 1[^1].

Sources disagree on onboarding availability, as Cisco's agentic apps release page states that onboarding is still in progress and that servers are not yet available in Webex App Hub while its onboarded servers page publishes live server addresses for several of the same named services[^6].

## Applicability

Applies to: Cisco Webex Suite. Deployments: cloud. Sources checked 2026-09-05.

## What remains uncertain

Why the 3 Calling tools declare no OAuth scope is not covered by the sources below. Whether the combined server is generally available or in beta is not covered by the sources below. Whether the signature and drift machinery applies per server is not covered by the sources below. Whether the 4 missing Messaging capabilities are deliberate is not covered by the sources below. Sources disagree on whether Cisco onboarded third-party servers are live, as Cisco's agentic apps release page states that onboarding is still in progress and that servers are not yet available in Webex App Hub while its onboarded servers page publishes live server addresses for several of the same named services[^6]. Rate limits and payload limits on the combined server are not covered by the sources below. The embedded other pages pattern appearing on help.webex.com as well as developer.webex.com is not covered by the sources below. Which server Cisco recommends is not covered by the sources below.
